• She was invited to present paper at Punddarika Vittahal Utav at Bangalore under the auspices of Indira Gandhi National Centre For The Arts.

• Aloka Kanungo has been appointed as scriptwriter, coordinator and advisor for documentation of “Bandha Nritya” by Centre for Culture Resource and Training.

Bandha Nritya an acrobatic limb of Odissi almost on the verge of extinction (received fellowship from Dept. of Culture, New Delhi.) Sthapatya Satya is a production based on extensive research and embellished with Bandha in four performing Arts –namely Chitra, Kavya, Nritya and Geeta.

• Champu

Champu, a Khandakavya Compromising Prose and Poetry is being studied by Aloka. It is her quest of profound secret meanings between the lines of the poems.

• Sabda Nritya

This is a dance form which requires immediate attention and almost on the brink of extinction. Her successful production Dasamahavidya is a demonstrative effort of Sabda Nritya.
